Sequoyah Elementary Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) in 2006 with a mission to financially support educational initiatives to assist the school in areas of academic achievement and excellence.

 

Since its inception, over $1,000,000 has been raised in support of Sequoyah Elementary School. 

Funding is used to support the following:

• STEM learning as part of the weekly ENCORE rotation for all students

• Technology device purchases and upgrades

• Additional teaching and enrichment positions

• Professional development opportunities for our dedicated staff

In addition to the foundation, the school's success is also supported by an active PTO, parental and family involvement and local business sponsorships. The combined efforts of these dedicated individuals, groups and businesses have propelled the school's reputation and helped garner impressive recognition and rewards, including the Blue Ribbon award in 2019 and Reward school status year after year.
